Today seems like the perfect day to write. My name is Piotr I’m a New Yorker who lives and breaths New York sports. I’m not huge on baseball but I bleed blue for the Giants, Knicks, and Rangers.

I don’t know who I’m writing for; maybe just myself. Living in the state of New York I’ve grown a tough skin. My teams continue to constantly disappoint. So I need an outlet to vent. This is now going to be that outlet.

What makes us choose the team we root for? Why do we stick with them? Why do we continue to watch it, buy the gear, buy tickets for games when we know deep down our teams will disappoint?

These are just some topics I will try to explore as I think explore what it means to be a fan of the Giants, Rangers, and Knicks. And what made me root against the Jets, Nets, and Islanders/Devils.
